Feel The War In Israel More Than Most

 I grew up seeing wars all over the globe on my television set, always the USA was fighting for the right side, etc...  in my teens, when people who joined the armed forces to me, who had seen Vietnam, they had sold out.  I thought no one should fight for our government after what they had done in Vietnam and other countries.  University I learned colonialism was actually a bad word.  Not those wise Colonialists who established our great nation.  Native Americans were still the bad guys in the movies, usually, though people were coming around a bit by the sixties, when I was born, at the height of the Kennedy High, and then ,murder after murder after murder of minds who would reshape the country from an oligarchy  masking a democracy...

In Gaza I am not in any position to think my opinion much matters.  I am predictable, my behavior will be that of someone who faces the truths and fights injustice, no matter what color skin, or religion, or whatever...  people deserve justice whether I personally agree with their philosophies or not, and by the golden rule, I ask the same humble honor.

My situation is unique in that I cannot sit back like most and take the moral high ground over people who have ordered deaths of thousands.  Not a Hitler, just a leader of soldiers, for select issues, not exactly working for the government, but certainly coming to their aide if I could. Someone who has ordered a number of deaths they keep from me, though I mourn in great numbers, caring not really if it is one or tens of thousands, the same horror fills.    I did not want some group I knew nothing about taking over the world.  Lord, the things I could not even conceive of being true, or happening to me, happened.  

I see what Israel is doing because if I wanted to do what they want to do, this is one way I might do it.  I have been ruthless in the past, to the point I cannot believe I wrote what I did.  What I demanded ten plus years ago...  in the midst of some crazed war I did not want, but when I was finally told about all the death I just wanted out, and was told Oh, Hell No....  you have to help stop this.  Made sense, thank you Supernatural.

I no longer wish to see conflicts on this planet, fought over bits of land rendered demolished into dust in the taking...  the ancient buildings bombed, homes destroyed, neighborhoods no more.  The horrors unimaginable,  those pesky civilians they mostly keep out of war movies, unless it is to save them... I am tired of watching a genocide in real time. 

I have no expertise on the Middle East, merely a heart, ethics, and enough history to know the story is one of slowly genociding the Palestinian people.  I have watched their antics all of my life.  I left it alone, like most politics,  during the marathon schooling, when my philosophies and theoretical politics  my eclectic course of study.  I wanted nothing to do with politics.  I figured they would do what they did, and what the hell could I do about it...  ignore it to write and love.

Now, I have not exactly considered what my position must be like in your world, though at least I know that I have deconstructed the myths that seem meaningless, petty, and nothing compared to the truth.  I am a creature who has miraculous powers.   I will not use them wantonly, I do not wish to try to 'test God, anymore than science does...   one and the same to me.

I hope the Governments seeking to negotiate are blessed by God, and may God lay out their path to peace, as miraculously as parting a red sea of blood, to walk through, and out into a land of plenty....

God I ask thee to

Part the sea of blood in Gaza

to let in food and water and medicine ....
